Another fight has been scrapped from Saturday night’s UFC Vegas 16.

The event’s featherweight main card opener between Movsar Evloev and Nate Landwehr will no longer take place on the card, multiple people with knowledge of the cancellation told MMA Fighting. One of those people said the fight was cancelled because Evolev tested positive for COVID-19. Combate was first to report the change.

The event will move forward with nine fights with the added cancellation of the women’s flyweight bout between Montana De La Rosa and Taila Santos, which was first reported by MMA Fighting.

The battle of former M-1 Global champions will have to wait. Evolev has won his previous 13 fights, including all three of his UFC appearances in fights against Seung Woo Choi, Enrique Barzola, and Mike Grundy.

Landwehr bounced back from his octagon debut loss to Herbert Burns with a decision win over Darren Elikins in May. “The Train” entered the UFC with an impressive seven-fight winning streak.
