Darn, those thirsty Ultimate Fighter Championship (UFC) fans ...
UFC Paris went down this past weekend from inside Accor Arena in Paris, France, and it turned out to be awesome with several finishes, including a grisly doctor stoppage in the main event between Renato Moicano vs. Benoit Saint-Denis (watch highlights).
Among the six finishes throughout the event was Ailin Perez’s first round arm-triangle choke on the “Prelims” (watch highlights). It turns out her quick finish earned her almost a whopping 60,000 Instagram followers as of this writing.
Nevertheless, mixed martial arts (MMA) fans are pathetic, according to popular YouTuber, MMA Guru, who pointed out that she gained 40,000 more followers than Moicano.
These are the followers for Moicano & Perez before & after their wins #UFCParis
Moicano gained 19k followers for his career best performance & upset win over no12 ranked BSD

It’s not rare for female fighters to gain more followers than male fighters after an event —sometimes, they also lose followers.
Now, it may be because of Perez’s finish of Russia’s Darya Zheleznyakova or the fact she twerked in her opponent’s face immediately after.
