Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently sent its upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event into the shop for repairs. What came back was UFC 223: “Holloway vs. Khabib,” thanks to a late injury from interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson.

Holloway (19-3) will have just a couple of days to prepare for Khabib Nurmagomedov (25-0), who opened as a massive betting favorite against the lighter, leaner Hawaiian. I guess they don’t serve Tiramisu on the big island.

UFC 223 will also feature the strawweight championship showdown between Rose Namajunas (champion) and the even more-arrogant Joanna Jedrzejczyk (challenger), while Michael Chiesa and Anthony Pettis collide in lightweight action.
