Bellator Kickboxing 7 salaries: Joe Schilling earns $50,000 payday
Part-time MMA fighter Joe Schilling was one of the top earners at Bellator Kickboxing 7, cashing a $50,000 payday for his TKO win over Najib Idali, according to payroll figures disclosed Tuesday by the California State Athletic Commission to MMA Fighting.
Schilling, a 33-year-old champion kickboxer who occasionally dabbles in MMA, finished Idali via second-round doctor’s stoppage on the main card of Bellator Kickboxing 7.
Bellator Kickboxing 7 took place Sept. 23 at the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., serving as part of a one-night double-header alongside Bellator 183. The night’s main card was tape delayed and is expected to air Oct. 6 on Spike.
Overall, the show’s top earner was Idali, who cashed a $60,000 payday for his loss to Schilling.
