Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight kingpin Robert Whittaker threw down opposite late-notice replacement opponent Ikram Aliskerov earlier today (Sat., June 22, 2024) at UFC Saudi Arabia live on ESPN+ from inside Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In a stellar performance, Whittaker smoked his opponent in just about half a round.

The rest of the night saw solid action after a slow start to the “Prelims.” Notably, Shara Magomedov picked up his UFC first stoppage win, and Alexander Volkov scored a clean upset win over power-punching former friend Sergei Pavlovich. Check out some of the standout performances below:

  • Robert Whittaker dropped a massive right hand then a massive uppercut into the jawline of Ikram Aliskerov, scoring his first knockout win since 2017 (WATCH IT!).
  • Shara Magomedov improved to 2-0 by picking apart Antonio Trocoli for most of three rounds, stopping his exhausted foe with a late flurry.
  • Volkan Oezdemir scored his first knockout in five years when he demolished Johnny Walker with a brutal right uppercut.
  • 26-year-old debuting talent Felipe Lima scored the sole finish of the undercard when he shocked Muhammad Naimov with a slick rear naked choke in the third round.
