Chiesa Files Police Report Against McGregor

It’s not Michael Chiesa’s fault that he’ll be unable to fight Anthony Pettis tomorrow night (Sat., April 7, 2018) at UFC 223 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Blame Conor McGregor for that.

After “Notorious” stormed the Barclays Center yesterday in search of Khabib Nurmagomedov and tossed a dolly through a bus window that left Chiesa’s face cut up, “Maverick” was pulled from his main card tilt with Pettis. It’s one of the rare occasions when getting a window seat goes wrong.

As many predicted, Chiesa has officially filed a police report against McGregor, according to sources close to TMZ Sports.

McGregor, who could face follow-up police reports from the likes of UFC executive Reed Harris and UFC flyweight Ray Borg, was escorted out of the 78th Precinct earlier today after taking his “Notorious” mugshot. As of now, the 29-year-old Irishman has been charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of felony criminal mischief.

Considering the magnitude of McGregor’s assault, and the fact that Chiesa will miss out on competing at UFC 223 this weekend following a lengthy training camp, “Maverick” shouldn’t have much trouble sticking it to McGregor. The fact that “Notorious” doesn’t seem to have remorse for his actions could hurt him down the line should he meet Chiesa in court.
