Colby Covington turns informant for Dana White, threatens to snitch on Tyron Woodley and ruin his life

Someone should send “Chaos” a copy of “Goodfellas.”

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contender Colby Covington has become the 170-pound version of Nik Lentz, picking a fight by way of ad hominem attack, probably because a win over Dong Hyun Kim is not the accolade it used to be.

And since former lightweight kingpin Rafael dos Anjos was ignoring these insults from “Chaos,” Covington moved on to bigger and better opportunities, like reigning welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.

“The Chosen One” is currently warring with promotion president Dana White, following a ho-hum victory over Demian Maia at the UFC 214 pay-per-view (PPV) last weekend in Anaheim, California.

Let’s just say White was less than kind in his critique.

Woodley, who may have lost his Georges St-Pierre super fight, has since demanded an apology before threatening to dish some dirt on White and Co. if he didn’t get one. That led Covington to interject and turn jailhouse snitch.

If these turds can’t shake Woodley, what chance does Covington have?

The No. 8-ranked Covington is doing what most fighters have done post-McGregor (who was doing what Chael Sonnen did) and that’s use his mouth to work his way up the division ladder instead of his fists.

It’s called the path of least resistance and if you can get enough fans talking about you, it usually works.

Woodley vs. Covington at UFC 219?
