Combate Clasico results: Ricky Palacios, Kyra Batara come up big in Miami


Combate Americas returned to the airwaves on Thursday night (July 27, 2017) with its “Combate Clásico” supershow on ESPN3, taking place inside a packed Mana Wynwood in Miami, Florida.

In the main event of the evening, Ricky Palacios jumped up to featherweight to battle Chris Avila, beating the UFC import by way of unanimous decision and notching his sixth-straight win.

Elsewhere on the card, Kyra Batara settled her grudge match with Vanesa Rico by submitting the judo champ in the second stanza, while Marcelo Rojo elbowed his way to a technical knockout win over Billy Molina.
