Dillon Danis gets in Garry Tonon’s face at Polaris 5 weigh-ins
Love him or hate him, Dillon Danis doesn’t back down from anyone.
The brash grappling star went nose-to-nose with fellow Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Garry Tonon at Friday’s weigh-ins for the Polaris 5 show, which takes place at the Indigo at the O2 in Greenwich, London on Saturday.
Tonon submitted Danis with a heel hook when they first competed against one another at an ADCC event back in 2015, and based on Danis’s aggressive faceoff, he’s eager to avenge that loss. To Tonon’s credit, he appeared to be more amused than anything at Danis’s attempt to psyche him out.

Former UFC standouts Jake Shields (who topped Danis at a Submission Underground show this past May), Brad Pickett, Phil Harris, and Caol Uno will also be in action.
Polaris 5 airs exclusively on UFC Fight Pass with the prelims starting at 12PM ET, and the eight-match main card at 1:30PM ET.
