Face Off! Liddell Vs Ortiz Final Staredown

We’re just days away from the third and hopefully final PPV fight between UFC hall-of-famers Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz, who came together on Tuesday for the final press conference before their Nov. 24 showdown inside The Forum in Inglewood, California.

Liddell (21-8) has agreed to put his retirement on hold to answer the call of his longtime nemesis, who believes he’s finally got the right formula to melt “The Iceman.” Ortiz (19-12-1) was stopped by the former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant at UFC 47 and then again at UFC 66.

Former boxing champion, Oscar de la Hoya, is the promoter behind this geriatric experiment, in what the ex- “Golden Boy” hopes will jumpstart his foray into the world of cage fighting. And since most of the available talent is already signed to UFC and Bellator MMA, the only place to look was the retirement home.

Liddell is 48 while Ortiz is 43.

Best case scenario? A fun fight with a clean finish and nobody gets hurt.
