Invicta FC signs undefeated Brazilian prospect Jessica Delboni

Jessica Delboni has signed an exclusive deal with Invicta Fighting Championship, her team told MMA Fighting on Friday. Delboni, who racked up a 7-0 MMA record in the Brazilian circuit, will cut down to the atomweight division for her promotional debut.

The Parana Vale Tudo talent went 4-0 in 2017 and scored another win earlier this month in Brazil, all fights contested at strawweight.

“Once again we’re proving that our women’s team is the best women’s team in the world,” PRVT leader GiIliard Parana told MMA Fighting. “If she has built a great history as a strawweight, she will dominate the atomweight division and win this belt.”

Delboni trains with UFC strawweight contender Jessica Andrade in Niteroi, Brazil, and cornered her teammate in her most recent victory over Tecia Torres.
