Currently exploring free agency & excited to see what the future holds. The journey is far from over. Let’s get this work. Who would you like to see me sign with?

“Currently exploring free agency and excited to see what the future holds,” Bochniak wrote. “The journey is far from over. Let’s get this work. Who would you like to see me sign with?”

Bochniak (8-5) is parting ways with the UFC on a three-fight skid, after dropping consecutive decisions to Sean Woodson, Hakeem Dawodu, and Zabit Magomedsharipov. Despite the loss, it’s the latter bout against Magomedsharipov that boosted Bochniak’s profile as he pushed the pace against the top featherweight contender in round three and earned one-half of a Fight of the Night award for his troubles.

His UFC wins, both decisions, came against Brandon Davis and Enrique Barzola. It should be noted that Bochniak’s announcement does not preclude him returning to the UFC, though given his recent results that possibility seems unlikely.

Bochniak’s only pro experience prior to signing with the UFC was with Rhode Island’s Classic Entertainment & Sports MMA promotion.
