Mayweather vs. McGregor Results: Live updates of undercard and main event

Andrew Tabiti vs. Steve Cunningham

Round 1: Here we go, the historic Mayweather vs. McGregor pay-per-view is officially underway. Cunningham does not look 41 years old. Tabiti pops out a few jabs. Cunningham circles and responds. Very slow opening round. Apologies, we’re having technical difficulties with the pay-per-view. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Tabiti.

Round 2: Tabiti charges forward with a double jab followed by a right hand. Tabiti dialing up his aggression now. Nice counter right lands flush for Cunningham. Beautiful combination by Tabiti, who scores then circles. Cunningham walks Tabiti against the ropes, then clinches. Nice head movement from Tabiti, who slips a flurry of punches. Cunningham stands in front of Tabiti and dares him to throw. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Tabiti. (20-18 Tabiti.)

Round 3: Crisp series of jabs from Tabiti lands on the mug of Cunningham. Tabiti hanging back relaxed, staying on his back foot. They clinch and both fire off a salvo of short rabbit punches. Cunningham pressures Tabiti into the ropes but can’t find his mark with any punches. Cunningham swarms with looping punches and connects with a hard left. Tabiti counters. They clinch. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Tabiti. (30-27 Tabiti.)

Round 4: Tabiti goes to the head then body with his jab. Cunningham answers with a hard right. Tabiti ducks under a looping shot and clinches. They break, and Cunningham charges forward. Cunningham finds his mark and lets out a little roar. They clinch and Cunningham gets warned for an elbow. Tabiti walks Cunningham into the corner but doesn’t do much with it. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Tabiti. (40-36 Tabiti.)

Round 5: The instantly clinch and start working from the inside. Cunningham lunges forward with a lazy jab to the body. Tabiti springs out a double jab in response. There’s a lot more pop on Tabiti’s punches so far. Tabiti swarms, mixing head and body punches with a nice combination. Tabiti circles and lets Cunningham walk him into the corner. Lunging right hand misses from Cunningham. Cunningham fires off a few short body punches from the clinch. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Tabiti. (50-45 Tabiti.)

Round 6: Cunningham comes in hot and misses badly with a lunging right. Tabiti jabs to the body then goes up high. Tabiti fires off jab after jab. He’s in complete control of this fight. Cunningham rushes into the clinch and eats a nasty right hook for his troubles. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Tabiti. (60-54 Tabiti.)

Round 7: Cunningham takes the center of the ring and starts headhunting. Nice series there for Cunningham, who has Tabiti on his back foot. Cunningham smirks. Left hand lands for Cunningham. Tabiti fires off a series of jabs and straight punches but can’t find his mark. Tabiti finally starts connecting with his jab. That was Cunningham’s best round. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Cunningham. (69-64 Tabiti.)

Round 8: Tabiti seems to be coasting a bit, playing defense and slipping Cunningham’s punches. Cunningham eats a jab. And another. Cunningham walks Tabiti into the ropes and goes to work with a series of short shots. Tabiti comes alive in the clinch and starts unloading. Basically half of this round has been contested in the clinch. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Tabiti. (79-73 Tabiti.)

Round 9: Very slow start to this round. One minute in and almost nothing has happened. Tabiti finally starts opening up with his jab. That was uneventful, to say the least. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Tabiti. (89-82 Tabiti.)

Round 10: Final round Cunningham needs to get desperate. Tabiti seems content to let Cunningham lead the dance. Cunningham eats a few sharp counters. Tabiti is coming on strong now, walking Cunningham into the corner and unloading with punches. Tabiti connects on a few more flurries to send us home. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Tabiti. Gervonta Davis vs. Francisco Fonseca

Round 1: Davis walks out wearing the most amazing furry blue hat. Oh my, and some furry blue shorts. Reebok ain’t got nothing on that. And he’s going to fight in them. These shorts are incredible. They touch ‘em up and we’re off. Davis is already grinning. Davis fires a left hand to the body, and another. Nice right hook lands for Davis. Fonseca clinches. Davis smacks Fonseca with a lead left through the guard. Fonseca misses with a left. Hard right from Davis. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Davis.

Round 2: They take a moment to cut the outrageous tassels off of Davis’ shoes. Davis clinches and lifts Fonseca! Oh my, he always double-legged him. Davis gets a warning for that one. Fonseca fires off a one-two. Davis eats a hard left. Nasty counter right from Fonseca. This is Fonseca’s round so far. Davis opens with a flurry, then just misses with a hard left. Davis is swarming here with power punches. Nothing is landing clean, but he’s still scoring. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Fonseca. (19-19 overall.)

Badou Jack vs. Nathan Cleverly

Round 1: Cleverly immediately takes the center of the ring and goes on the aggressive. Jack responds by going head then body. Cleverly works the body but eats a hard right in the process. Jack smacks Cleverly with a hard right hook. Cleverly barrels forward with hard straight punches. Jack answers with a sharp jab to the jaw. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Cleverly.

Round 2: Jack goes to work lightly punching a covered-up Cleverly. Jack peppering Cleverly. Left hand lands for Jack. Cleverly is starting to open up now. Cleverly fighting on the inside, throwing lots of punches but not landing anything flush. Jack cracks Cleverly clean with a nice right. Jack digs into the body then connects with a looping right hand. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Jack. (19-19 overall.)

Round 3: Jack takes the center of the ring and they start trading. Jack goes to the body. They trade left hooks. Jack paws away with his jab, smacking Cleverly. Jack is starting to let loose now. Cleverly eats a hard right. Jack is extremely active this round. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Jack. (29-28 Jack.)

Round 4: They’re trading early. Jack swarms and connects with a series of shots. A pair of hard left hands from Jack pop the sweat off Cleverly. Cleverly responds with a short uppercut. Cleverly paws out his jab. Jack lunges inside and cracks Cleverly with a big left hook. That was a nasty one. Jack starts unloading against the ropes. Cleverly is busted up. Fantastic round for Jack. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Jack. (39-37 Jack.)

Round 5: Jack picks right back up where he left off. He’s battering Cleverly. Jack walks him back into the ropes and just starts unleashing. Cleverly is doing his best to dodge shots but he’s getting battered here. Credit to Cleverly for surviving because he’s been eating punches for the past minute. And just as I write that, Jack swarms and forces the referee to intervene. That’s all she wrote.
