McGregor: ‘I Want To Take This Chance To Apologize’

A six-month supply gone in just 30 days.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion, Conor McGregor, recently issued an apology for his Irish whiskey, Proper No. 12. Not because it tastes like turpentine and rubbing alcohol, but rather because most locations have already sold out, leaving loyal fans without a taste of the Mac life.

Not a good look, especially with Thanksgiving right around the corner.

“I don’t usually see reason to apologize but in this case I want to take this chance to apologize to absolutely everyone for our out-of-stock situation,” McGregor said. “We are also planning to launch in more countries in 2019 including the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Canada and others. We will continue to expand as quickly as possible to meet the global demand.”

Ireland and the United States can expect new shipments in December.

Proper No. 12 is expected to make McGregor a billionaire, according to this guy, thanks to the high demand for his “Notorious” booze. Negative reviews clearly didn’t affect sales, though it will be interesting to see how it performs now that most buyers have gotten a taste.

Any whiskey fans in our audience care to weigh in?
