Former UFC champion Sean O’Malley will be the first person to tell you about his open marriage. “Suga” is quite proud of his “open relationship” with wife Danya Gonzalez — who is best known for coloring O’Malley’s elaborate hairdo — and has repeatedly celebrated their “dope threesomes” on various podcasts ... much to the chagrin of Vitor Belfort for some reason.

O’Malley’s freedom to pursue other women has landed him in a strange place: the direct messages (DMs) of the Hawk Tuah girl! Hawk Tuah, real name Haliey Welch, exploded into viral fame on TikTok by making a sex joke during an interview. It spread all across the internet, and now Welch has an extremely successful podcast — over 171,000 followers on YouTube! — called Talk Tuah and will probably never have to work a real job again.

On a recent episode of Talk Tuah, Welch revealed that O’Malley was DMing and calling Welch before ever meeting her. “You said UFC fighter, right?” Welch began (via SportsBible). “What is that fella’s name that has been messaging me all week? O’Malley boy? He has a kid, don’t he? He’s so nice, he’s just like, ‘What are you doing?’. When he first DM’d me I had like five missed calls from him on Instagram -- I didn’t even know you could do that!”

Perhaps O’Malley was simply impressed by Welch’s interviewing skills at a recent Karate Combat event. She’s also been seen ringside in Florida for Jake Paul’s bludgeoning of Mike Perry (watch highlights).

As for O’Malley, he was last seen in the cage coughing up his Bantamweight crown to Merab Dvalishvili just a month ago. The Suga Athletic Commission has overturned that loss, however, which could lead to a rematch sooner that later despite the pleas of Umar Nurmagomedov.

As for the potentially blossoming romance, well ... you miss every shot you don’t take?

I strongly feel Joel Alvarez deserves a ranked opponent, but this is still a banger.
