Kevin Lee is one of the top Lightweights in the world, a quickly improving kickboxer with one of the best and most punishing top games in the sport. As it turns out, Lee is also making moves in his spare time as a political activist, as it was revealed earlier today that Lee will introduce National Campaign Co-Chair Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz at presidential candidate Bernie Sanders’ upcoming rally in Las Vegas.

Interestingly, this likely relates back to Lee’s knockout victory over Gregor Gillespie back at UFC 244 on November 2nd. Immediately after scoring one of the best head kick knockouts of the year, Lee posted a photo of the knockout with the caption “BERNIE SANDERS YOU BASTARDS.”
President Donald Trump was in attendance that night for Lee’s spectacular knockout, which seemingly prompted the post.
