“Venezuelan Vixen” continues to throw around baseless steroid accusations.
It has been two weeks since Julianna Pena became the second Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter to win the women’s Bantamweight championship twice, defeating Raquel Pennington via controversial split decision in UFC 307’s co-main event from inside Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Nevertheless, after the 25-minute fight, she called out the only other fighter to also win UFC’s women’s Bantamweight championship twice, Amanda Nunes, for a trilogy ... a fight she’s not getting next because Kayla Harrison is next in line.
Nunes did release a video of her dancing, while telling UFC CEO, Dana White, to give her a call. In a recent interview, Pena trashed Nunes for the video, revealing that “Lioness” retired ... to get on steroids?!?!?

“You know why she wanted to retire?” Pena told Ariel Helwani. “So that she could get on those roids and not get caught — look how big she is!”
So, according to Pena’s logic, a retired fighter who isn’t in the best shape and is a bit thicker means they are on steroids, apparently. For what it’s worth, this isn’t the first time that Pena has thrown out accusations over steroids, though.
Two months before her fight at UFC 307, she told Harrison to “stay off the needle.”
Nevertheless, Pena has changed course and is expecting to fight Harrison next. She is targeting International Fight Week in July 2025. “Venezuelan Vixen” also revealed that UFC told her Nunes wants to fight the winner of Pena vs. Harrison.
It’s all going according to plan ...
