Preview: ‘Bullet’ Faces ‘Evil’ Challenge

Reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko, will defend her title against longtime veteran, Jessica Eye, in the UFC 238 pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event, scheduled for tonight (Sat., June 8, 2019) inside United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Shevchenko (16-3) moved down from the bantamweight division after a pair of losses to Amanda Nunes and has looked completely unstoppable at 125 pounds. Similarly, Eye (14-6, 1 NC) was unable to realize her potential in weight class populated by bigger and more powerful combatants, but has since captured three in a row after heading south.
