Pros react to Jon Jones’ failed drug test at UFC 214
Staggering news hit the mixed martial arts world on Tuesday when word broke that UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones had tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in a USADA test before his third-round knockout victory over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214.
The July 29 bout in Anaheim, Calif., was itself Jones’ return from a previous USADA suspension, which was just one in a long string of problems the massively talented but troubled fighter has been through.
Needless to say, the fight world had opinions on the latest news:
