Soldier Of Sox Hurls First Pitch, No One Dies

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight No. 1 contender, Yoel Romero, is making the rounds in “The Windy City” to promote his upcoming rematch against reigning 185-pound champion Robert Whittaker.

They’ll go to war in the UFC 225 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, scheduled for Sat., June 9, 2018 inside United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Part of his media tour included throwing out the first pitch for the Chicago White Sox, conveniently embedded in the video above for your viewing pleasure.

The pair first threw hands at UFC 213 back in summer 2017, where Whittaker walked away with the interim 185-pound strap after outscoring “Soldier of God” on the judges’ cards. They were set to run it back at UFC 221, but the bout was scrapped after “The Reaper” was pulled due to a nasty staph infection.
