Surprise! Francis Ngannou will knockout Stipe Miocic in under three rounds

Part of what makes Francis Ngannou so dangerous — other than the fact that he hits like a tank — is most of his opponents haven't seen everything he can bring to the table.

That’s because Francis only has five fights inside the Octagon, which means there’s still plenty to discover from the hard-hitting Heavyweight other than what we see on the surface. To hear him tell it, that’s the advantage he holds over his foes, including current 265-pound champion Stipe Miocic, who won’t know what him him should they ever square up inside the eight-sided cage.

"I already know everything they're able to do," Ngannou said when speaking to ESPN about Miocic and Alisitair Overeem.

"Everyone knows all of their skills. They don't know mine. They're still discovering mine. I'm bringing a surprise in every fight. I've never had the opportunity to show my whole game yet,” he added.

Of his five wins, four of them have come via knockout with one coming by way of submission, proving that there is more to Francis than just a big punch. Still, striking is his bread and butter, and if he gets a shot at Miocic next, the champ will be going to sleep in under three rounds.

"I knock Stipe out when we fight. I think under three rounds, I knock him out,” proclaimed “The Predator.”

Ngannou was lined up to face Junior dos Santos at UFC 215 before “JDS” was popped by United States Anti Doping Agency (USADA), which prompted the promotion to cancel the fight.

Francis was trying to pick a fight with Alistair Overeem, but after “The Reem” showed his disinterest, Francis turned his attention to the biggest prize of them all, which didn’t sit too well with Alistair.

Ngannou, though, is growing impatient and prefers to fight someone sooner, rather than later.

"It's not clear right now," Ngannou said. "I want Stipe, but they are also talking about Overeem. I'll probably fight either [UFC 218] on Dec. 2 in Detroit or [UFC 219] on Dec. 30 in Las Vegas. I'd prefer to fight in Detroit just because it's 28 days sooner," he said. "I had a fight this month and it didn't happen, so I'm just waiting. It sucks,” he concluded.

As for Stipe, he’s currently trying to iron out his new contract before he attempts to defend his title for a record-breaking third straight time. But if he finds himself face to face with Ngannou, he won’t shy away from a stand up battle.
