UFC announces first Shanghai trip as part of fall lineup

During Saturday’s UFC 214 broadcast, the promotion announced a dozen events for their fall lineup, including the Octagon’s first visit to mainland China.

A UFC Fight Night event is scheduled to take place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai on Nov. 25. All three of the UFC’s previous trips to China have taken place at Macau’s Cotai Arena.

The UFC also booked international stops in Gdansk (Poland), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Sydney (Australia), and Winnipeg (Canada).

No fights have been officially announced for these events.

Oct. 7 - UFC 216 - T-Mobile Arena - Las Vegas, Nev.

Oct. 21 - UFC Fight Night - Ergo Arena - Gdansk, Poland

Oct. 28 - UFC Fight Night - Ginasio do Ibirapuera - Sao Paulo, Brazil

Nov. 4 - UFC 217 - Madison Square Garden - New York, N.Y.

Nov. 11 - UFC Fight Night - Ted Constant Convocation Center - Norfolk, Va.

Nov. 18 - UFC Fight Night - Qudos Bank Arena - Sydney, Australia

Nov. 25 - UFC Fight Night - Mercedes-Benz Arena - Shanghai, China

Dec. 1 - The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale - Park Theatre - Las Vegas, Nev.

Dec. 2 - UFC 218 - Little Caesars Arena - Detroit, Mich.
