UFC debuts official event poster for UFC 223: Nurmagomedov vs. Holloway
UFC 223’s replacement main event is officially official — and there’s a new event poster to prove it.
With Tony Ferguson out of his April 7 battle against Khabib Nurmagomedov due to a freak knee injury, the UFC has been forced to scramble in advance of its new short-notice main event of Nurmagomedov vs. UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway. As such, the latest UFC 223 poster is similar to the event’s old poster, only with Nurmagomedov replacing Ferguson’s background placement and Holloway replacing “The Eagle” in the foreground.
Notably, Holloway’s featherweight strap is absent from the image.

UFC 223 takes place Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
In addition to Nurmagomedov vs. Holloway, UFC 223 features a title rematch in the co-main event between strawweight champion Rose Namajunas and ex-titleholder Joanna Jedrzejczyk. The event’s main card airs live on pay-per-view.
