This weekend’s card has taken a significant hit.
UFC Vegas 95 from the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Neavada goes down this weekend (Sat., Aug. 10, 2024); however, it has lost its Bantamweight co-main event. Sources have informed MMAMania.com that Chris Gutierrez vs. Javid Basharat is canceled.
Many believed that Gutierrez vs. Basharat was the best fight on the card, and because of that, the card is very weak.

Basharat is highly regarded as one of the best prospects in the UFC at the moment, and a fight against a former-ranked fighter would have been a great test.
Former top 15 Bantamweight Gutierrez is coming off a main event loss to Song Yadong at UFC Vegas 83. He holds an 8-3-1 record in the promotion.
Basharat is also coming off a loss to Aiemann Zahabi, which was his first professional loss. Prior to that, “The Snow Leopard” fought to a no-contest against Victor Henry.
With the loss, UFC Vegas 95 continues forth with 11 fights.
