Video: Cage Warriors 100 promo focuses on title challengers Jack Shore and Mike Ekundayo

The build up to the Cage Warriors 100, the biggest event in the promotion’s history, is well underway.

Cage Warriors released a promotional clip earlier this week focusing on the contrasting backdrops of unbeaten bantamweight title challengers and main event pairing, Jack Shore and Mike Ekundayo.

Shore (9-0) banked his last win with a first-round TKO over 11th-hour replacement, Wessley Maia, in front of his adoring Welsh fans at Cage Warriors 97. “Tank” is considered one of the most outstanding prospects in the U.K. and Ireland and will own the home crowd advantage in his native Wales on Dec. 8.

Ekundayo (7-0-0) claimed a victory in his Cage Warriors debut in July, out grappling experience bantamweight competitor Ed Arthur on route to a unanimous decision win. Known as “Airlines”, Ekundayo has a reputation for his strength and wrestling ability. He is a training partner of former Cage Warriors bantamweight champion, Nathaniel Wood, and former Cage Warriors flyweight champion, Nathan Greyson.

Two world titles will be up for grabs for the milestone marquee in Cardiff, Wales on Dec. 8. To add to Shore and Ekundayo’s bantamweight title clash, Dean Trueman and Aidan Lee are set to decide the featherweight title in the final of the promotion’s divisional tournament.
