Florida Athletic Commission (FAC) recently released its medical suspensions for the “Fear No Man” pay-per-view (PPV) event, which took place last Sat. night (July 20, 2024) at Amalie Arena in Tampa. BKFC brawler Mike Perry was suspended 60 days for his technical knockout loss to Jake Paul, while Ashton Sylve drew a 90-day sit for getting slumped by Lucas Bahdi.
That’s according to MMA Junkie.
In addition, Stevie Morgan will spend 60 days on the shelf for her lopsided loss to women’s champion Amanda Serrano, while Dane Guerrero gets a two-month vacation for his defeat to Ariel Perez. All other fighters competing last weekend for Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) in “The Sunshine State” — including “El Gallo” — have been cleared to return to active competition.
“Chopped it up with Mike Perry last night,” Paul wrote on Twitter. “What a stand up dude. More confidence than most of these fighters. We agreed to run it in PFL when the time is right. If I’m stepping out of boxing, it’s going to be PFL. After that we can do Dirty Boxing.”
“Appreciate ya dude, respect,” Perry responded.
