They missed each other over the summer, but Drakkar Klose and Beneil Dariush are getting another chance this coming spring.

The veteran lightweights have signed on to meet at UFC 248 on March 7 in Las Vegas, rekindling a fight originally scheduled for UFC Sacramento in July. Klose was forced to withdraw due to an injury suffered on the week of the event.

The news was first reported by Combate reporter Ralphael Marinho and confirmed to MMA Fighting by multiple people with knowledge of the booking. They requested anonymity because the promotion has not announced the fight.

The pair went their separate ways after the canceled booking, with Klose bouncing back the following month to outpoint Christos Giagos in a hotly contested fight at UFC 241. Dariush returned in October at UFC Singapore and submitted Frank Camacho to earn his second consecutive performance bonus.

Both Klose and Dariush have won their past three UFC bouts, placing them on a collision course for the right to advance at 155 pounds.
