Get ready for the biggest bareknuckle boxing card of the year, featuring Mike Perry, Thiago Alves, Ben Rothwell, Todd Duffee and more!

Combat sports fans could not really ask for a more action-packed bareknuckle boxing card than the one we’ve got TONIGHT (Sat., April 27, 2024) live from Los Angeles, Calif., starting at 10 p.m. ET. BareKnuckle Fighting Championship’s (BKFC) “KnuckleMania 4” has got so many main-event worthy matches (full fight card here) that it’s hard to know where to begin.

Let’s start with what would normally headline any show — the big boys, the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighters, Ben Rothwell taking on Todd Duffee. Duffee is making his bareknuckle debut, while Rothwell looks to move to 3-0 in his new found lease on combat sports life. It is a tall task for the Duffee, who has suffered knockouts before, going up against the still hard-hitting Rothwell, who has happily taken his silly promos to another sport.

In the co-main event, you might be forgiven if you aren’t a regular watcher of this ol’ niche sport, but Lorenzo Hunt is legitimately one of the best pound-for-pound fighters to tape up their wrists today. He’s the promotion’s Light Heavyweight and Cruiserweight champion and looks to add Heavyweight gold to his trophy case. Before you accuse the man of simply chasing gold, he has defended each of those belts, and in the Light Heavyweight division, he’s done it twice. Hunt is on a nine-fight win streak over the likes of Hector Lombard, Joe Riggs, Mike Richman and Chris Camozzi.

His opponent is Mick Terrill, who is on his own three-fight win streak, having just gotten revenge on the only person to defeat him, knocking out Arnold Adams for the Heavyweight belt back in Dec. 2023.

Finally, in the main event, is BKFC’s biggest star, “Platinum” Mike Perry, who will take on former BKFC Middleweight champion, Thiago Alves. The same Alves who was once a top contender in UFC way back in the day and is now the striking coach at the American Top Team gym in Florida.

Expect some badonkas fireworks tonight.

Oh, and just for an added cherry on top, we’ve also got former WBO interim Light Middleweight boxing champion, Alfredo Angulo, making his debut against Jeremiah Riggs.

This event will be live on Youtube PPV for $29.99 — a bargain given the normal price of combat sports PPVs.

BKFC KnuckleMania 4: ‘Perry Vs. Alves’ Quick Results:

Mike Perry vs. Thiago Alves

Round 1: Perry in blue and pink, Alves in blue. Perry on the front foot to start, goes to the body. Alves gets in a 1-2, Perry to the body again. Perry goes body-head with the left and gets a knockdown. Alves barely gets up at 9.9 seconds, but stumbles when the ref tells him to walk left and the ref waives it off.

Final result: Mike Perry def. Thiago Alves via TKO

BKFC Heavyweight Championship Mick Terrill vs. Lorenzo Hunt

Round 1: Terrill in white, Hunt in gold and black. Terrill gets in an overhand that glances in. Hunt surges forward with a combo and gets an overhand of his own. Terrill with a clean left. Terrill swarming with a combo. Big uppercut by Terrill and down goes Hunt! He’s dislocated his elbow and the fight is over.

Final result: Mick Terrill def. Lorenzo Hunt via TKO

Ben Rothwell vs. Todd Duffee

Round 1: Rothwell in black and red, Duffee in black and white. The Duffman eats a counter right hand about 20 seconds in and down he goes! He looks no worse for the wear... never mind, he gets cracked again and Duffee has had enough. He points at his shoulder and says no mas.

Final result: Ben Rothwell def. Todd Duffee via TKO

Alfredo Angulo vs. Jeremiah Riggs

Round 1: Angulo in black, Riggs in white. Riggs with an early body shot and a left upstairs. Riggs follows him back to the ropes and he’s unloading. They’re brawling up against the ropes. Riggs grabbing hair repeatedly, but getting away with it. Riggs having his way with Angulo until Angulo BLASTS HIM TO THE CANVAS WITH ONE BIG RIGHT HAND. He can’t stand and that’s as big a one-round comeback as you’ll see.

Final result: Alfredo Angulo def. Jeremiah Riggs via KO

Crystal Pittman vs. Sydney Smith

Round 1: Pittman in black and white, Smith in gold. Pittman lands the 2 in a 1-2 and Smith looks like she felt that good. Smith is normally fighting at a lighter weight and she’s got to avoid big punches. On cue, there’s a big right from Pittman, and Smith is staggered. She’s stuck on the ropes and standing there. Pittman unloading and the ref steps in.

Final result: Crystal Pittman def. Sydney Smith via TKO

Evgeny Kurdanov vs. Julian Lane

Round 1: Kurdanov in white, Lane in blue. Slow start as neither man is willing to enter range early. Kurdanov gets in a counter left. Another one. Lane steps in and shoves Kurdanov to the ground, rightfully ruled a slip. They clinch and Lane gets in a bunch of body blows. Another clinch at the bell and Kurdanov to the canvas again, but either ruled a slip or after the bell.

10-9 Kurdanov

Round 2: Kurdanov apparently tore his bicep at the end of the round, and the fight is over.

Final result: Julian Lane def. Evgeny Kurdanov via TKO
