Video: Russian MMA fighter Brags About Head Kicking Boxer ... In A Boxing Match
This past weekend (Sun., Oct. 20, 2024), undefeated Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Idris Abdurashitov knocked out Iranian national boxing team member Bagher Faraji with a vicious head kick ... in a boxing match, which took place inside Western Boxing Gym (a.k.a. Ali’s Boxing Gym) on Soi Ta-ied in Phuket, Thailand.
Abdurashitov was clearly losing and getting beat up in the boxing match, and instead of accepting the loss, the Russian fighter threw a left high kick that knocked Faraji unconscious. Abdurashitov immediately walked to his corner and left the ring.

After the fight, Abdurashitov took to his Instagram and bragged about cheating.
“So [I] debuted in professional boxing and disqualification for life,” Abdurashitov wrote. “This kick with the leg I threw away with a machine gun!”
Once the clip got shared on social media, MMA fans called for the Russian fighter to get banned from all combat sports.

Abdurashitov (4-0) competed for ONE Championship at ONE Friday Fights 78 in Bangkok, Thailand, winning via second-round referee stoppage.
It’s safe to say he will have a hard time finding a fight in any legitimate promotion after his dirty head kick.
